Acrylate Copolymer

Acrylate Copolymer is a high molecular weight, hydrophobic carboxylate acrylic copolymer. As an anionic polymer, it requires compatibility testing when used with cationic ingredients in formulations.

How to Use

• Mix into the hot oil phase of the formulation.
• Compatible with glycerin, propylene glycol, alcohol, or pre-neutralized hot water (e.g., water with 0.5% TEA and 2% acrylates copolymer).
• Sprinkle slowly into the solution while stirring thoroughly.
• Ensure all oil-phase ingredients are combined and heated to 80°C (176°F) before adding acrylate copolymer.
• Agitate and mix continuously for at least 30 minutes.
• Recommended usage level: 2-7%. For external use only.
